• Standard Bank’s funeral plan is available for anyone under the age of 65, and they do not request medical examinations to join. They have a variety of plans to choose from depending on your needs.
• Standard Bank Funeral Cover benefits include 20 % off your doctor’s consultation fee, 10 % off optometrist consultation fees and even 10% off on frames.
• Standard Bank Funeral cover gives you access to an emergency ambulance service to transport you to hospital. Each family gets an amount for medical expenses resulting from a traumatic experience.
• Standard Bank Insurance provides Funeral Assist which gives advice on how to apply for a death certificate and the necessary documentation.
• Medical Assist (deals with any health query 24 hours a day, 365 days a year).
• Trauma Assist providing counselling for any traumatic experience for each person insured with a maximum per family occurrence. Where necessary, an ambulance will be dispatched.
• Trauma counselling for bereaved families which provides psychological counselling on death of next of kin.
• They provide medical treatment for bodily injury due to accident or assault.
• Dentist network: provides between 20%-40% discount on Consultations, Oral examination, Dentures and other contracted procedures. Discount is provided on services performed during office hours.
