The Nedbank Optimum Savings Account is part of a portfolio which is designed for clients aged 55 years and older who have at least R10,000 invested in a Nedbank Fixed or notice deposit account, excluding any deposits made with the Nedgroup investments.

• It is convenient as you can transact or make enquiries on your account via any ATM or self service terminal at any Nedbank Branch via telephone banking or over the internet.
• Maintain at least R10 000 in a Term or Notice deposit excluding any deposits made with Nedgroup Investments, and qualify for exemptions from certain transaction fees, including account maintenance fees.

Qualifying Criteria:

• You need to be at least 55 years old.
• You need to have at least R10 000 invested in a Nedbank Fixed or Notice deposit account (excluding any deposits made with Nedgroup Investments).
• R50 opening deposit is required.
• R30 minimum balance to be maintained at all times or the accumulated charges, whichever is the greatest.
