Fedhealth is one of South Africa’s leading medical aid scheme providers with 75 years of experience in the market. Fedhealth Scheme Options

Maxima EntryZone:

This scheme is more of a hospital plan which makes it ideal for young individuals who are healthy and capable of taking care of their own day to day expenses. The Maxima EntryZone cover provides affordable health cover as well as preventative care, chronic benefits and hospital cover subject to network hospitals. This product allows members to receive one annual GP visit free for each beneficiary and a free flu vaccination. Furthermore, specialised radiology like MRI and CT scans are available.

Maxima Core:

This option is ideal for people who are serious about their health. This is a hospital plan that provides you with unlimited in-hospital cover, as well as cover for major procedures like chronic benefits, health screenings and preventative care. As an added bonus member may enjoy reduced co-payments.

Maxima EntrySaver:

The Maxima EntrySaver option provides both unlimited hospital and generous day to day benefits. Additional benefits include chronic benefits, preventative care and one annual GP visit free for each beneficiary on the scheme and a free flu vaccine for each beneficiary on the scheme.

The MaximaSaver:

This option is slightly more expensive for those wanting to take responsibility for their health. This scheme gives you ultimate cover at all private hospitals, together with day to day medical cover. Once your savings are finished, you still have access to unlimited GP visits on the FedHealth network. Furthermore, you have access to health screenings with ultimate radiology specialists and trauma treatment.

Maxima Basis:

The Maxima Basis option is a basic comprehensive plan, perfect for starting a family. The option provides unlimited hospital cover at any private hospital facility and day to day benefits. Additional cover provided on this option includes chronic conditions, preventative care, health screenings, ultimate GP visits and contraceptives for women.

Maxima Standard NET:

This scheme is perfect for a young and healthy family with generous day to day care plus cover at network hospitals. This scheme is very similar to Maxima Basis, but it has improved hospital and screening benefits and increased cover for chronic conditions. You get comprehensive care along with great benefits. Benefits are subject to Fedhealth network hospitals and facilities. Members who fail to comply will receive a hefty co-payment on the hospital bill.

Maxima Exec:

The Maxima Exec option is ideal for mid to high-level earners. The option provides superior healthcare benefits, cover for specialist visits at network service providers, unlimited hospital cover, a large sum for day to day expenses, cover for 51 chronic conditions, female contraceptives, preventative care and health screenings.

Maxima Plus:

The Maxima Plus option is ideal for high-level earners. This option is Fedhealth’s premium options and offers the best of the best. Cover is for specialist visits at network service providers, unlimited hospital cover, a much higher amount for day to day expenses, cover for 51 chronic conditions, female contraceptives, preventative care and health screenings.
