Discovery Medial Aid plan range

The Executive plan:

The Executive Plan option is best suited for individuals that require extensive medical cover. This option offers optimal cover for chronic benefits, and unlimited in-hospital and day to day expenses. Added benefits on this option include additional cover when your Medical Savings Account runs out for GP consultation fees, preferred medicine, blood tests, maternity costs and some durable external medical items.

The Comprehensive Series:

This option provides unlimited hospital cover at any private facility along with an extraordinary medical savings account for day to day cover. The option provides comprehensive cover for GP visits, chronic conditions, Maternity expenses and screening procedures. Added benefits include access to advanced specialised medical healthcare.

Priority Series:

Discovery offers the Priority Series option that provides unlimited hospital cover, in hospital specialist visits, cover for chronic conditions and day to day benefits. Included in this option is a medical savings account and travel cover.

Saver Series:

This type of cover provides unlimited hospital cover, full chronic benefits, and a medical savings account to cover everyday medical expenses. Additional benefits for this option includes maternity benefits, GP visits and travel cover.

Core Series:

This is a more affordable option that provides ample cover. Benefits of this option include unlimited hospital cover, in-hospital specialist cover, chronic conditions and medication and travel cover.

KeyCare Series:

This product is ideal for the lower income market. The KeyCare option provides unlimited cover for critical hospital care, in hospital specialist visits, cover for chronic medication and day to day benefits including unlimited cover for GP visits.
