The Standard Bank 32 Day Notice Deposit Investment Account is ideal for you if you want to keep yourself away from touching your savings. The 32 Day Notice Deposit account is an investment account that earns you interest but to access your money, you have to give Standard Bank 32 days notice.

Standard Bank 32 Day Notice Deposit Investment Account Highlights:

• There is a minimum opening deposit of R250, and you can add to your investment at any time as long as the balance is no less than R250.
• You are able to create a stop order of at least R250 from your transactional account to your 32 Day Notice Deposit Account to save monthly or weekly.
• You can give notice on all or part of your investment provided it is for at least R250.
• Your money is protected by a 32 day notice period, meaning it’s a little bit more difficult to spend on a whim.
• After giving Standard Bank 32 days notice, you can withdraw your money at your branch or have it paid into another account.
• The higher your balance, the higher your interest rate. Interest rates are variable, and any rate change will be effective immediately.
• Interest with this account is calculated on your daily balance and is paid into another account or re-invested monthly.
• If you have a Standard Bank AutoBank card, you may open a notice deposit account using Internet banking, AutoPlus or at a Branch.
• If you link your notice deposit account to your Standard Bank AutoBank card, you are able to manage your account using Internet banking, AutoPlus, Cell Phone banking or Mobile Banking App.

In order to qualify, you will need to make a minimum deposit of R250. You have to be an individual and a South African citizen or if you are a non-South African citizen, you will have to present a valid passport and study or work permit.
