Get up to R100K funeral cover in less than 10-minutes without any medical tests. We are committed to have your claim paid within 24hrs.

Leaving a legacy and looking after the ones you love is all about planning. With our range of funeral cover options, you can insure yourself and cover may also be extended to your immediate family (spouse & children) as well as extended family which includes your adult children, parents and your parents-in-law.

This product only has a 4-month waiting period for the policyholder, spouse and children and no waiting period will apply for accidental death once the first premium is received.

As the policyholder you could qualify for up to R100k funeral cover without any medical tests.

What is a waiting period?

It’s the period of time from the start of the policy where no insured event resulting from natural causes (like a heart attack) will be covered. If you pass away in an accident you are covered from day one. Extended family members have a 12-month waiting period. In the event of the policyholder’s passing away, the cover for the remaining members will continue for 6-months free of charge.

What happens if I miss my premium?

We will attempt to collect both premiums on the next collection day. If the collection is still unsuccessful, your policy will lapse and your cover will be forfeited.

Do I need to go for an HIV test?

We don’t require any medical tests to finalize your cover.

What is the maximum amount of cover I can take out?

R100k as the main member
Spouse cover between R20k – R50K
Parents and parents-in-law cover between R20K at R50K
Child cover between R5k – R20K depending on their age

How long does the application process take?

The entire application is completed over the telephone and it shouldn’t take more than 10-minutes to finalise.

Can I change my cover at any point?

Yes you can. Just note that if you increase your cover a new waiting periods will kick in for the increased cover amount.

Does the cover increase automatically every year?

No. You are welcome to call us to increase your cover as and when you see fit.

Is there a cash back benefit? 

Our pricing is super-competitive so we don’t offer a cash back benefit. Our aim is to provide you with best possible premiums.

Can I change my beneficiary nomination?

Yes. You can do this at anytime, however the premium payer may not be the beneficiary. It’s the responsibility of the policyholder to make sure the beneficiary is current.
