Burial Plan:

With the Burial Plan, your burial expenses are taken care of to ensure a dignified funeral for your loved ones. The plan pays a lump-sum benefit for funeral and related expenses for each person insured. The funds are received within 48 hours of receiving all the required documentation.

The plan provides the following:

• Up to R30 000 for you and your spouse
• Up to R30 000 for up to eight children
• Up to R30 000 for up to four parents
• Up to R30 000 for up to eight extended family members

Comprehensive Funeral Plan:

The Comprehensive Funeral Plan covers the costs of a funeral for you and your spouse, children, parents and extended family who are covered on the policy.

The Comprehensive Funeral Plan covers the costs of a funeral for you and your spouse, children, parents and extended family on a single policy.

The plan provides the following:

• Up to R100 000 cover for you and your spouse
• Up to R50 000 cover for up to four parents and eight children
• Up to R30 000 cover for up to four extended family members

Additionally, the plan offers double accident cover for you and your spouse. This pays out a lump sum equal to twice the value of your chosen cover.

When you live beyond 65, you keep your cover without paying extra premiums. If you die before the age of 65 years, any other lives on the policy will carry on being covered until the date where you would have turned 65 years of age.

The education benefit can be taken out with the Comprehensive Funeral plan.

Extended Family Funeral Plan:

The Extended Family Funeral Plan covers the costs of a funeral in your extended family so that your family doesn’t need to be anxious about the expense of a funeral when they are grieving.

This is full life cover for four extended family members for as little as R37 per month. The minimum cover is R5 000. The maximum is R40 000. The funds are received within 48 hours of receiving all the required documentation.

You can select a single month once per year to skip a payment without losing your cover. Additionally, you get back five months’ worth of premiums every five years even if you claim.

Parent Funeral Plan:

The Parent Funeral Plan covers the cost of up to two parents as well as two parents-in-law, for as little as R75 per month.

The plan pays a minimum lump sum of R10 000 and a maximum of R20 000.The funds are received within 48 hours of receiving all the required documentation.

You can select a single month once per year to skip a payment without losing your cover. Additionally, you get back five months’ worth of premiums every five years even if you claim.

Parents have to be between 35 and 74 years of age.
