What is covered?
Property Damage covers accidental loss, damage or destruction to specified property such as your buildings as well as their contents (including stock, plant and machinery, electronic equipment, money, glass as well as documents) whilst on the premises or in transit.
Consequential Loss covers your loss of profits or revenue (and continued fixing expenses) suffered because of the interruption of your business operations whilst the damaged property is being fixed or replaced following an insured event or disaster.
Loss or damage to your property resulting from theft or criminal activity by employees or others.
With Public Liability, you are covered against sums you are legally liable to pay as damages, together with your legal costs and expenses relating to an injury to any person (including employees) or accidental loss or damage to their property.
With Worldwide All Risks, your specified items are covered against accident or misfortune not otherwise excluded.
Motor cover protection against loss, damage or liability is offered as in three variants: Third party only; Third party, fire and theft; Comprehensive.
Personal Accident will compensate you if you, or an insured employee, are disabled or killed in an accident – irrespective of whether it occurs at work or not. It will also pay for medical expenses because of an accident.
Optional Employee Retrenchment Benefits offer your staff cover against loss of employment as a result of the implementation of a staff reduction program, adverse business conditions, the introduction of new technology or the reorganisation of your business in accordance with the Labour Relations Act.
Legal and Witness Attendance Expenses to cover legal proceedings arising from the conduct of your business (whether instituted by or against you) are included if chosen.
